UNION PARK

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Nestled in the historic South End District on Union Park, this 1865 six-floor Brick Victorian Row House, most recently an abandoned settlement house, was totally renovated into three, 2-level condominiums, all richly appointed with previously removed architectural details. Design Associates assisted the Owner with obtaining approvals from the South End Historic District Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, including an on-site water conservation system mandated by the City of Boston zoning ordinance, and the Neighborhood Association. The renovations included the re-introduction of a previously destroyed entry vestibule and Victorian Stair Hall, outdoor decks and gardens for each condominium.
