WINSLOW-CROCKER HOUSE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design Associates collaborated with Historic New England Inc, on a feasibility study for the Winslow-Crocker House in Yarmouthport, MA. The study included first-floor universal access modifications, accessible entry design, building code review, and accessible circulation around the site.

The 18th century house was moved to this site between 1935 and 1936 by Mary Thatcher. Mary's family settled in Yarmouth in the 17th century and the Winslow-Crocker house is home to her extensive colonial furniture collection.
