THE HORATIO STONE HOUSE
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Built circa 1872 during the Romantic Revival era, the original house was an Italianate residence. Building upon its history, the addition and alterations referenced this Victorian style, with broad, bracketed cornices and richly detailed verandas.
For the interior, however, an open plan kitchen and dining area emphasizes modern living and the sky-light topped screen porch pulls light into the additions. A second floor master suited competes the addition.
