PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Working in collaboration with Town of Nantucket Planning and Economic Development Commission and Town of Nantucket Historic District Commission officials, Design Associates strategized with the Stop & Shop Supermarket Company to develop a Master Plan consistent with the Mid Island Design Overlay District.The overall Master Plan included Retail, Office and Residential buildings scaled and designed to capture both Nantucket’s 18th and 19th century architectural character and “New Urbanism” planning principles.
