NAHANT TOWN HALL IN NAHANT MASSACHUSETTS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design Associates was engaged by the Town of Nahant in December 2017 to establish a prioritized treatment list for repairs to the Nahant Town Hall. We published our report in March 2018 in support of Community Preservation Act applications to the town.

The Town Hall was built in 1912 and is a good example of Civic Colonial Revival civic architecture. It was designed by prominent Boston architectural firm, Andrews, Jacques & Rantoul; the builder was William Crane, a native Nahant builder.
