DENVER HOUSE 680

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located on the grounds of the former Denver Polo Club, this new single family residence looked to the English Arts and Crafts movement for its architectural precedent. Recalling the architectural works of such notable English architects as Sir Edwin Lutyens, C.F.A.Voysey and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, this sandstone facade and Vermont slate roof capture the sense of another time and place. Resplendent with tall, natural finished western pine wainscoting, elegantly detailed stair halls, Rocky Mountain hardware and concrete flooring and countertops, the Gothic interiors blend the past with a spirited sense of the present.
